What can you expect from the House of Compassion?  You can expect to be greeted in love by folks who have been blessed greatly by God’s mercy.  You can expect to see people who have overcome many struggles in their lives with God’s grace.  You will see people who are in the midst of struggles and pain and are being surrounded by the love and support of people who have probably endured the same battles in their pasts.

You will see lively praise and worship that focuses on God.  The music and dance will strive to give all glory and praise to our Creator.  We have a blended style of music, which ranges from hymns to southern gospel to contemporary music. 

You will hear the preaching and teaching of God’s word that is presented with love.  We use multimedia presentations that help in the communication of God’s word.  Our children and teens not only have their own services, but you can rest assured that they are also being told about God’s love and sacrifice in a safe, secure environment.

You will find a senior pastor who is not afraid to do what God has called him to do.  Therefore, our services are always fresh and exciting.  Whether it is a Bike Sunday or the Power Team, Jewel City Ministries will explore any avenue that they feel God is leading them in order to tell others of God’s great love. 

Finally, you will find a church full of humble people who remember how it felt before they found the Lord and He changed their hearts and lives.  Although we take very seriously the jobs and responsibilities that God has given us, we try to not take ourselves too seriously.  We are all “works in progress” and make many mistakes.  So, laughter is a medicine we try to take daily.
